White, black - get it out...
The constant focus of white/black etc is a disgrace to this nation. Dedicated people gave all they had to set the nation free from racism and the new government has multiplied it ten times. The people of SA would not be at all race focussed if it was not for our government. It is as if racial classification plays a more prominent role now than before. What went wrong? I would say that we should get new people into government as those who are there are not there for the people, but for themselves. Let us elect officials who care for our cities, provinces and nation. Let them understand that we are fed-up with the racism and we DEMAND that they act in a respectful way towards all people. If you go to nations like Brazil and see how many different people live and interact there you would be amazed. I had some friends from Brazil in our home over December and they said it was so disturbing to see the constant focus on the white/black issue. It is the language of the day. Let us rise up and uproot it.

It is disturbing to have this blinding spotlight on colour - white is a clour, so is black. Caucasian is a race, so is Negroid. We are fixated upon colour and the symbolical meaning we have accorded it. When can we be 'just people'? When can we relax and just enjoy our beingness - without all this drama about race?
well, that question is in the hands of the SA'ns. unfortunately there are many people with political agendas who can't afford that this issue be dealt with. they need the racial division to champion their own causes and to stir up violence and bitterness against whites in order to have the approval of the masses. they make the people believe that the whites are the cause of all the problems and that they will deliver the people from this oppression, which make them popular with the people they psyched up.
